Failed MOT, Airbag light and Wheel bearing play :(

Gutted(n)

Airbag light was a matter of time as its intermittent from the dreaded wiring under the seats, guessing they moved the seat as its been off all year!

Strange one with the wheel bearing play as I've replaced both rear Discs and pads with Brembo ones which people recommend on here (SNR were OOS) so not sure what's gone on there, only the nearside had play, odd.

Any ideas on whats going on there guys?

Rear disc spacers on and facing the right way?
They are on, I will double check on the spacer as its possible I put one side on the wrong way, schoolboy error if so! It's torqued up to 175 so it isn't that.

OK, I've tried to take the disk off and it won't come off ffs the Garage said they nipped the hub nut up and I'm guessing that's the reason but may be wrong.

I've smacked it with a hammer and pulled on it with the wheel back on and it literally wobbles like the play the guy was talking about, no chance it's coming off.

Pished right off.

I had exactly the same thing when I had the rear discs done without the disc spacers. Was a proper ballache to get off.
I ended up using this tool https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01EAKFJWO/?tag=cliospnet01-21 to get them off. I had to enlarge the holes slightly to get it to go on both wheel nut holes, and definitely use a sacrificial bit of wood or metal to protect the end of the stub axle. Made short work of removing the firmly stuck discs though.

Oh ffs, French piece of Sh**

This happened when attempting to put my disc on, thought it was tight going on and it wouldn't so attempted to pull it off and it left this behind.

Just out of interest, anyone know why the disc didn't just slide on with ease? I made sure everything was clean and I even lubed it up to encourage it but it wasn't having it?

No idea if it's the right thing to do or not, but I had similar issues, I used some fine sandpaper on the stub closest to the threads, then lubed and went on fine.

Not sure, mine went on piss easy :/

Changing discs on the 1*2's should be a doddle tbh. Remove Stub Cap. Remove nut. Remove disc. Check and replace spacer. Clean off area. Lightly moly the shaft (giggidy), slide the new disc assembly on carefully. Locate. Tighten to seat. Drive down the road and back. Then re torque. Replace Stub Cap.

Done.
