Ac delete guide

  Clio 172
Just bought a full cup alterator set up to do a ac delete on my 172. Is there any guides on swapping things over and stripping the ac out? Also is there a certain way to let the gas out?

Thanks

Pure motorsport have a guide on the website for fitting their variant of the kit. Itl be useful for showing what to do with the pipes etc but not much use for the bracket installation as it's completely different.

I think you should release the gas properly at a place which can recover the gas, maybe somewhere with a regas machine could perform it, I'm not sure.

Or you could just release the gas and never tell a sole what damage you have just caused. I'm sure most people who are driving round with knackered air cons that need regassing didn't release the gas in an environmentally friendly way.

You also will need the 172 Cup power steering set up, unless your deleting that too.

Didnt know this. Do you mean the cup alternator?

If you've bought the 172 Cup auxiliary set up; brackets/alternator etc. You'll need the power steering pipes and pump set up.
The alternator is mounted lower than a normal 172 so the pressures are different.

From what I've read the pas pipes can easily be rerouted to fit this setup.

Cheers for the reply’s guys, the set up I have bought has been adapted so I don’t even need to bend my pas pipes
