very small hair line cracks! you cant see them very well where mine has cracked, but you can feel it with your finger, its quite sharp and i think if the belt was to slip it was slice the belt!
has anyone else had this problem? the actual pully has hair line cracks in it, they almost look like scratches but on closer inspection we found that is has multipule cracks! Is this a common problem im not sure? my car has done 86k so it might be worth checking yours out? im changing it on...

Is it tight going in gear? Sometimes if they havent been set up correctly, and are tight they need time to wear/loosen up. Aslong as the noise doesnt get louder i would try it for a few thousand miles?
Having owned the car for no longer than a week i insured her today, having already put a injector in it yesterday she is now spluttering!! I drove from home to a fuel station and filled the bugger up, i pulled out of the fuel station and the car lost power and started popping, i could of cried...
well i changed the injector today, i put a multi metre across the pins fn the injectors and i was getting around 13-14 ohms. On Cylinder 4 injector i was getting 3.e ohms haa! problem solved and the light has gone out to ! just be sure to use plenty of wd or vaseline on the o rings so they slip...
swapped the ht leads around on the coil. I pulled the plug off the injector and the engine remained the same, does anyone know the resistance of a good/ brand new injector? the only thing i havent done is put a led across the injector plug to see if it is getting a signal.
WD All electrics in the engine bay, TFR the engine bay and work in with a brush. When washing with a power washer dont aim at any electrics or fuse box ect, use a damp sponge around them areas.
