Hi,
I've got the @NorthloopCup / BIGASH Roll Centre kit, and after a few years of great usage it needs some maintenance.
Does anyone know what spec the spherical bearings / rose joints are?
Thanks!
Fitting seats and there's one cable I can't work out where it goes. The cable that connects the handle on the seats to the sliding mechanism - so that when you fold the seats you can slide them without separately using the sliding lever.
This is the cable at the seat runner end (it's already...
Thanks for the info!
So I guess it was the usual Jenvey MR23 Manifold (75mm length), with injector pockets welded in, and spacers of I’d guess about 50mm length. I don’t suppose anyone still has a original RS2 around to actually measure? Just intrigued to know if there was any change in...
Intriguing, thanks.
What I don't get is that we always said it was a Jenvey base manifold... but looking at their catalogue I can't see anything that matches. The Jenvey base manifold (for ITB kits etc) doesn't have the fuel injectors...
The original two piece design with the join clearly visible:
The single piece design:
Wondering if the length changed between the two designs with the removal of the join, making it an "RS2 extra half" or something?
Bit of a random question but anyways...

If you look at the photos of them fitted, some of them...
As per the title!
Clio 182, lowered on Cooksports, ET45 wheels (182 Cup), 205 profile tyres.
What size spacers can you run before needing a non fat mates rule?
I'm all ears on how to do it cheaper.
Problem is, I'm happy to remove the gearbox on nice simple RWD Westfield and have done it dozens of times. But I don't want to do spannering on a FWD Clio that's a right pain to work on. Then once the gearbox is out it then needs the diff removing, which...
Buy unknown spare gearbox.
Take car to garage. Have them remove your gearbox and fit the second hand one.
Send your gearbox to Quaife. Pay them the money for the new diff and to fit it to your gearbox. Alternatively, send it to Northloopcup instead and ask Mark to give your gearbox a refresh...
For a Clio 182, what is a good carpet to fit the boot? (Just the boot, not a van conversion / rear seats removal).
On eBay I've found:
