    Just wanting some info regarding remaps Basically when you have a remap is the new map unique to each individual car or is it generally just a preset map depending on what modifications have been carried out ????. Thanks.

    just tried out some meguires caranuba polish but instructions a bit unclear. couldnt tell whether i should let it dry and then buff off or just apply and buff to a shine. any ideas anyone cheers

    spent 2 full days washig/polishing/waxing new car and looks spot on but one thing is spoiling it and making it look tatty Its old dried wax/polish on edges of panels/bonnet/boot etc. I cant seem to get it off tried soapy water but just dries the same any ideas of best way to remove it cheers

    its a vx220 (charall blue) ive got afeelin its not metalic but not sure (how do you know) just got rid of my 172 cup (of 4 years) so spent a lot of time on here and know about the good advise on offer not got any nails but im sure that if i had then most of the scratches would not catch

    the defects are fine scratches that seem to be just in the laquer and not through the paint its like a car that has been washed without care or been thruogh auto car wash not sure what paint type how would i know

    wanting some advise on how to use it ie do you follow the direction of the scratch or go at 90 degrees or circular motion also is it best to apply pressure or use a light action and how do you know when your in danger of going to far and removing paint thanks

    Thanks for all this . benr/stan im obviously happy for the inlet mod because as I said Im just wanting to optimize what i've allready got (standard). Is this the same when you talk about remapping i.e. is it a case of adjusting/optimizing the original parts (ecu or whatever).
