Ben is that for your 172, was interested in the 197 kit which is using standard internals. Your car would be a weapon though :evil:

Yes but it you STARTED with more power you could tune higher and with the lower weight get huge gains :)

Some one posted up some pics of the Renault factory and I was looking at the 197 engine, and as it is on the same platfrom as the 182 (F4R) would it be possible to get one into a 182? The advantages are obvious, but the cost and feasibility is another issue :)...

I looked into the Cat and it's by far a lot more restrictive than the sports Cat and HEAPS heavier. Would have to say that a de-cat would be better but wasn't prepared to take the risk. I have a before dyno graph and will be going to the same dyno and operator in the next couple of weeks, there...

G'day, I am looking at geeting this done in Sydney but it's heaps expensive. How can they do it for $60, what technique is it? Is it a polish or are they chroming it? Any advise would be appreciated :)
