It’s completely standard apart from the amp and sub ( which previous owner paid £1183 for) the belts will be done next month using genuine parts ( I work at a garage) as they are due end of year.
Black gold 182 with both cup packs, full history 103k on the clock, one owner from new, original bill of sale and accident pack with the car, in great condition, what’s it worth?
Ok so before anybody says it, yes I have done a search!
I’m about to embark on a new project (project Binky style) and need to use the original looms from a clio 172 cup but I need to get rid of some of the electrics, mainly the Srs system.
So can you reprogram the srs ecu and uch and then...
Wow that’s a thread revival! I use to have a Tamiya clio r/c and I painted it exactly the same as this ( I had a tangy rsi with 16v front end) looking forward to more updates on this mate
I was planning, 182 manifold, port and polished inlet , v6 airbox ported head ( now a 182 head) group n timing, arp bolts, pas and air con delete and a session with Chris at Efi, am I barking up the wrong tree or would that be a good engine set up?
Just picked up a ph1 172 engine and I’m about to strip down ready for a rebuild but what upgrades/mods do you recommend?
I don’t want to run itb’s as it will be in a daily and touring Europe and I’m not chasing big bhp figures.
Your opinions please?
Ok so I have purchased a ph1 172 engine for £50 and my plan is to rebuild build it from the sump up, but I’ve never done it before, so what recommendations would you give for a first timer?
Also where would be the best place to get parts ( just going for a standard engine with group n timing)...
