It was snowing the night before and still icy in some places on the track so when they let us out it was still silly cold lol I left them at 28 (cold) as I thought it would take a lilttle longer for them to get some heat in, did 2 sighting laps and mid way through the 2nd lap it felt all wrong...
I can fit my hands down in between slam panel and inlet just don't try and do it mid track day lol I got my hand stuck and it was HOT haha not had any problems other than that checking my oil and I thought it was gonna be a nightmare to check.
I'm almost the same as Mark, Ran RC6 which the dust was terrible mine lasted about 8 track days although I managed to run both my sets down to the bare minimum left on them I didn't get any crumbling, but fancied a change so tried the DS1.11 first outing in them at Donnington Park a few weeks...
I just come from RC6 to DS1.11 and the ONLY thing I prefer about the CL RC6 is no bedding in lol just chuck them in and go, DS1.11 have to be bedded in which can be a pain for me as I don't like doing it on the sighting laps. Other than that I will probably buy DS1.11 again next time.
Was just wondering what tyre Pressures people run with 888's at the Ring I'm not sure if to start off like I would do at a normal track day and get them up to temp and 30psi all round or if they will get hot enough to raise the pressure that way, I know alot will depend on conditions but with it...
@eon172 The minnow would probably be the one you would risk being over weight with but on a stripped out track car I cant see a problem with it, think the Minnow-Max would be your better choice and yes they do tend to hold money that was also another reason we went for the larger A-max as it...
Mines a A-Max and have plenty of room with the clio, We only bought a bigger trailer as If we change car in the future or have to move a bigger car we could.. I would'nt have a problem buying a small single axle trailer for a clio (or similar sized car) as long as the weights are legal and I had...
Same trailer by the looks of it as us but we have the crew cab trafic which pulls well and like said even with the crew has plenty of room, just if I ever wanted to tow anything heavy probably couldn't with the trafic.
As above lol my mate has an R26 fully stripped and full cage plastic windows etc (about 250hp with map) and I can't keep up with him at Oulton, And he's just booked it in for a RS250 Turbo, 630cc Injectors, Remap.
We use my dad's Reanult Trafic crew cab van and I was suprised at the weight these can tow only 2000kg on a braked trailer, even though the Clio is fine on the trailer as combined weight is about 1700kg (thats without tyres on my tyre rack) I did take it work and put it on the weighbridge with...
