Rev problem could be a sticky throttle or possibly a TDC sensor. Clean the TB first if not get it on the computer to see if any codes have been thrown up!
Wash the car, then dry with a microfibre towel and polish. Then wax it! By the way, wtf are you waxing in this weather? It's far too cold for that carry on!! You'll find it extremely hard to get the wax to cure!!
Guys, just a quick heads up about this. Looks like it'll be a great day. Raging I have to work!! Get your names down on RMS if you can go!

No, the code will still be there. It will show up as an historic code and not a current fault. As said, you've probably just got water in something electrical and it didn't like it! Hopefully all fixed now though. Be careful next time you wash her!
My old 1.2 Clio passed with a decat. I'd had problems with a blocked cat, so cut the cat apart, took the insides out and welded it back up. Box was still there, just nothing in it. MOT guy didn't notice and emissions were fine!
Mine gets washed at least once a week! Normally gets a full detail every 3-4 months and a top up wax every month! Just fully detailed it this week, so won't be getting much more than a wash until the spring! She's wearing a nice coat of Swissvax Onyx at the minute!
