Just paid my insurance again for another year which I thought was a really good price considering my age etc. Just need to see what this year holds in store for the car mods wise as last year didn't contain much other than one or two small things....we shall see! :D
Like I said,I know it's good for my age,but you wouldnt look for it being cheaper? I think you might ;)
Yeah the area I live in helps alot aswell. Best area you get for insurance purposes I beleive
Well,I got my renewal through today for the 172. Almost a bit of a surprise that I've actually owned it for a year now  lol. Anyways this year just past I've been paying £1500 fully comp with Admiral. I was 18 when i got the car,19 now (20 later this year) also just received my 2nd years No...
Maybe. First port of call tomorrow I think will be to check the battery and see if it's that. Was only mot'd and had a full service just last month so surely shouldn't be anything major.
Having issues starting my ph2 172 but they seem to be intermitant. It will start sometimes but only if I pump the accelerator and other times it just clicks over once and then refuses to turn over at all. It's only started doing this since this batch of really cold weather has hit the country...
Can't decide which wheels to go for on my black ph2 172-white 2118's or silver/anthracite turinis. Anyone ever done 16" 2118's as I only ever recall seeing pics of 15" ones before. Pics might help too if you wish :)
Steve
You guys don't live far enough north. Enter the area of Aberdeen i stay in and I'm insuring my ph2 172 for £1500 fully comp n the policy was takin out in my own name when I was 18 with 1 years NCB :D
Showing that I'm not too clued up in the brakes department....what improvement do you see with braided hoses and what purpose do they serve? Never really knew
Won't rub at 60mm with standard 16's. My question for you si where did you get 60mm springs from? :S ive never seen springs for a sport lower than 40mm unless theyre custom made
Well he's wrong! As I got my 172 when i was 18 with 1 years no claims and my insurance is £1500 fully comp, holding my own insurance policy and come renewal time it will be going down to approximately £680 fully comp at 19 with 2 years no claims.
As for the Astra GSI I can insure one...
