i'm building my clio 3 RS gordini to be fun and efficient at Autocross.
i've looked at the gripper 5.0 ratio crown and pinion but it is very expensive.
so i'm going most probably for a 5.08 ratio made by Sj-3P from France ( anyone heard of him over here? )

is there any other brand than the gripper that you recommend for a crown and pinion ?
to be honest 1000 gbp is quiet a number and i cannot pay that much.
i heard about sj-3P ( puppo) but i know nothing about the reliability of his product. anyone heard of it ?

i m thinking of installing a Y pipe on my clio 3RS ... it's the precat delete tube.
is there any previous post on it's pros and cons?
if not,
what are the pros? the cons? will it kill the clio and make it slower if not mapped?

Well the plan is to replace it by any clean ( not flooded clean :) just clean ) engine we can find and do whatever needs to be done with the aux....
but I'm still wondering if there is any way to distinguish both types without having to check the engine number. Anyone?
so better buy an engine that was previously on a cup... instead of changing everything back.
any way to know the difference directly just by looking ( apart from the engine number) ?
