God!! do the 172/182 Clios get that much mpg?? My 230 bhp TDI Golf only averages 39mpg!!! You lot must drive around at 30 mph to get that sort of mpg!! every 2l 16v car I have had over 150bhp has been high 20's mpg

right I have been on quite a few valuation sites and all seem to say between £5200 to £5900 in good condition? mine is in showroom condition and has low miles plus the DCI100 is suppose to be the most desireable DCI anyone think im way off the mark here>?

I have a mapped DCI 100 now approx 125bhp and loads of torque!! it flys!! I have covered 36000 miles and not a single issue with it, gearbox is as good as it was when it was bought new!! go for the dci 80 is a load of rubbish!! its a lesser car with weaker bottom end lesser intercooler etc etc...

I have one for sale on pistonheads at the moment its a 100dci mapped to 125bhp

As well as my Clio I have a Golf MK4 GT TDI PD 150 miltek system de-cat, uprated injector nozzles, FMIC and jabba stage 2 map running 223bhp and 360 lbs ft torque. It has a Sachs uprated clutch and I can launch it in second gear and run 0-60 in 6.2 secs, so your traffic lights theory goes out...

A remapped 100 DCI will wipe the floor with a 1.6 16v and give a lot more miles to the tank, but they are more expensive too!

Yep I have a 100bhp DCI now running 130bhp with just a re-map and its more than quick enough, it will see off most other small hatches in its catagory like the Yaris T-Sport,Fiesta ZTEC S,C2 GT and still do 55mpg! I think 65mpg is a bit of a wild claim for the 100bhp model as I have never seen...

I have had a remapped MK4 1.8T running just under 200 bhp and it was pretty much identical performance as the old 172's. I now have a Jabba stage 2 tuned GT TDI PD150 running 223bhp and 503nm torque and that beats Type R's/Clio's up the strip on the road but not on a track!! It is a lot better...

I hope I dont get reliability issues, but it is fantastic at the moment!! The torque is excellent too very hard surge! The car has 30,000 miles on it and never ever gone wrong, its due its second service in 6k! Should I get it services more often now it is re-mapped?
