Thanks for the add @optical , I would need to see the full part and how it secures into the light casing, but initial thoughts it's possible. Is it just one common part or are they handed for N/S and O/S?
Never realised this was a common problem will have a search later.
Sure I've got a spare...
Yep, that's my old RB:wink:
Cracking car when I had it never missed a beat other than usual stuff like new battery, rear shocks, discs & pads etc. Good to see she's still going strong and looking well.
dann2707 I've tried some of the liquid rubber products and they do give a softer rubber feel to the grips but weren't suitable. Needed something that was a little firmer to hold its shape and hard wearing.
See the MB Fibreglass website and something like this might be what your looking for ...
If anyone wants a set of thumb grips then drop me a PM.
Big thanks to all the people who bought them and hope they give you many years trouble free driving.

Get your names down ;)
No, not really. Your wheel would look odd with one OEM grip and one of these.
The grips are made in pairs so that they match colour wise so I'd be stuck with a load of odd grips.
Totally agree Darius, that's why we have made contact with the Admin and see how a group buy goes first ;)
To be honest my first thought was going eBay but after seeing over 2000 hits for this post started to think the selective market might be here then the traders member looks better value...
For £35 you will get both a left and right grip;)
There will be no discount for the group buy as it's mainly to find how well the grips are received and test the water to become a trader.
Phil
We will be looking at £35 for a pair of grips posted to mainland UK first class.
If people think it's a little high for a couple pieces of plastic just consider each set of grips roughly take 2 hours to make and factor in materials, postage ( £1.95 ) & packing. Not to mention the £££ spent on...
Right then boys and girls, we have now settled on some grips for a finished article:approve:
The grip on the left is/was full black pigment with a layer of wax to give it a little shine and the right grip is what I've settled on with slightly less pigment giving a dark grey matte finish. So...
When the resin arrives I'll try a couple of colour trials and post up some results :approve:
Is there really that many people with knackered grips to become a trader??
