Hi m8 was me. Made me giggle that little run. Had to slow down at first cos i was catching ya but tell ya what, you have some balls i chickened out as i went in to fifth. As for the noise just got a ITG panel filter and Powerflow not so stealth system. Your motor looked neat how long ya had it ?

Im sure when i got the motor it was from the main dealer with a trade card cheap as chips

Thought i had posted on here oh well. First wheel went at about 2002 172 60k melted both sides , thumb grips split. Good quality second hand one 1.5 yrs on and it is melting again Leather my ass !!!! p.s Will email details tonight

The renault sport wheels do exactly the same. Cost of a new wheel from renault in the region of £300. KTEC do a service invoving carbon fibre thunmb grips and real leather recover for about 200 quid i think.

Common fault with the rs typical french junk !! There is a thread hear some where with about 500 people complaining about the wheel melting

The motor is only about 15 quid easy to change. Renault tried to charge me 95 quid to do it. Worth replacing.

Just had a fault with mine . Was blowing hot air constantly with ac on and off and didnt matter what temp you set it too. Took the sensor out ( lives in the interior light) gave it a good dust out and hey preto it works perfect. Give that a try only took 5 mins

The car is a 2002 172 with 89K on it. Price is not to bad i guess but not needed right now. Didnt have the Aux done when i had the cam belt done either. Furnace let me know how ya do
