OMG.. I've just started getting this exact same issue. When I apply brake pedal, sometimes the rear flog light indicator on the dash flashes for a split second. I don't get the other two lights you mentioned though. Did you find the answer? I'll check rear earth. MATT BLACK, check the UCH...

Hi Lads, Andrew from Australia here, I too have this problem :( I also get the creak if I'm coasting in 1st (say 10km/h) and accelerate slightly. Does any know know if the washer strut thing can fix it?

I just noticed this with my clio. I've only had it for a week. I feel better now that everyone else has this problem. I'm going to learn to live with it. I drive a 2002 172.
