    sounds like it could be the crank or cam sensor ? im in enstone chipping norton not far from you your welcome to come over an try my sensors , i have a runway here you can drive up and down to see if it cuts out

    dunlop dz30g

    55 will be better for me for rallying, looks like the tyre to use though! I really rate Dunlop and Michelin they seem to have nice tough side walls and are a good quality tyre

    Track car footrests - what have you used?

    I used a ally one in my rally car with the sides on it was easy to fit and nice an strong but this time round I'm gonna use a fiberglass one in the clio

    carbon from alot of company's isnt actually carbon, they are fiberglass with a carbon layer

    on the epas thread @BIGASH mentions that the renault sump plug blocks one of the holes and a m18 lambda bung from a vauxhall fits the other

    Not sure yet as I haven't tried it on the car I've just put it on my spare colum.. It does have two little tabs on the back not seen a ph2 boss to compare against though

    EPAS on 172 Cup

    Just picked up a colum, motor, ecu, lower colum, and the eBay adjuster for £110!! I'll use a cup rack looped and hopefully fit it in the next few months after the cage goes in!

    Steering feels weirdly loose?

    What do you mean by loose? Like the assistance is varying There is play somewhere? If the car isn't moving and you wiggle the wheel do the wheels move or is something broken / worn?
