A few yrs back i was looking at getting a clio sport, ended up getting a 206 gti 138, was cheaper insurance and had only done 20K. Now im thinking of the clio again! problem is which one to go for, a love the look of the clio 172 cup, and theres one near me for sale only done 27k for £4500, or...

i currently have a VTR, ideally id get a clio sport, but insurance costs are putting me off. anyway looking at the 1.6 16v is only a group 8 insurance, just wondered how it compared performance wise to a vtr? cheers

i just went to look at a Y reg black clio sport, it was completely standard, still looked a nice car. anyway just wondered if anyone could post up any pics of their black clios with different alloys, spoilers or general exterior mods just so i can get a glimpse of how sexy they could look...

well im almost certain to be getting a 172, just the last thing i wanted to check before i make the dive! i travel 90 miles a day to work, in my vtr it costs around a tenner, i get around 35-40 mpg, just wondered what people get in their 172's driving reasonably sensibly!cheers

hmm i didnt really see many problems with it when i looked at it? saying that i was in the rain and was rushing a bit, mainly jsut wanted to drive it as iv never driven one before. Im going back maybe tomorrow to have a good look around it, thanks for the heads up anyway mate

yeah i thought it was pretty cheap. it as a fiat garage, the fool traded it in for a new punto! iv been watching it on autotrader for the last few wks, it start off at £4999, and slowly gone down to £3795. i will get my finance company to hpi it, but hopefully the garage is just desperate to...

yup it definately was, it had cup written on the side of it aswell, and had the turini multispoked alloys. and the salesman was telling me how it was firmer suspension compared to the standard clio sport. so im 100% sure it was a cup!
