    Hi there, I have a mk2 ph1 8v and was wondering if anyone new what the bolt spacing was on the front suspension? cheers paul.

    I have already change the clamp and bracket but whoever had it before me had the back box changed and the tip bends which means you can see it popping out the bottom of the bumper.

    Well I get my coilovers soon so I was thinking of sanding them down lackering them and flooding then up if it would work?

    It's the 8v, and I'm pretty sure it's the ph1! ill have a look and measure, any more links to coilovers that are cheap would be a grate to get me started!:)

    All I know is that it's a 1.2 v-reg, are all the top mounts the same? And is it just the distance between the two bolts that bolt the strut on to the hub?
