I have the same problem. Just been for an MOT and the examiner mentioned it too. I've cleaned out my throttle body, oiled my cable with a pressurised cable oiler and also cleaned out the idle valve. Problem is still there! I'm thinking it's either in the pedal or the throttle body is worn...
