    1.2 tce plugs

You have to be careful though. 8200587901 is for the D4FT, 224018760R is for the D4F. RPD don't actually mention this anywhere.

    1.2 tce plugs

I always get the plugs for my Twingo GT from RPD. Currently £57 for the set. D4FT's came with NGK plugs from the factory. (Mine did anyway). https://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/parts/service-parts/8200587901/

How long have you been an owner ?

Not a Clio, but a Twingo GT. 9 years on Wednesday (1st of June 2013). It's been my only car too all of those years. I've put about 70k on it in 9 years. I'm doing the wild Atlantic way across Ireland in it in a few months time, I'm looking forward to doing a proper roadtrip holiday with it.

Twingo GT funky cold start problem

Also, the coil and leads are new (I had a spare set, as you do). I've cleaned the throttle body, and I replaced the gasket and O-ring with a new set. The battery is about a year and half old. All sensors are original, but no warning lights on the dash or any error codes on the odb2 scanner...

Twingo GT funky cold start problem

My old Twingo GT has developed an intermittent cold start problem. Sometimes its fine (and when its hot it is always fine). But sometimes its takes a few goes and its rough / spluttery until it gets going. Once it catches itself and idles, its fine. And its fine for the rest of the day too. I...

    Clio 2 died on highway

Many many years ago my twingo just died in the middle of road during a spirited drive. After much pushing and swearing I figured out what was wrong with it on the side of road. Starter would spin, but wouldn't start. The plug fell out of the coil pack, I plugged it back in and it started...

    Twingo GT banger

I can't believe they are going so cheap now. I spent more than £300 on a set of new tyres on mine earlier this year. 😅

Twingo GT dog bone mount design change?

I know its a Twingo, but the twingo forum is pretty much dead. Plus I know a few people on here have had them. 09 GT, just over 85k on it now. Pretty sure my dog bone mount is starting to go (gear stick moves in 5th when you let off the throttle on the motorway, and yesterday its just started...

    France warns Renault could disappear

True, But I see them having a lot less interesting cars in the future. Just more bloody SUV's.....

    Bye bye Elf, hello castrol

Just noticed this today. I'm a bit surprised, Renault and elf went back years and years. Also, Castrol gtx, it's not that great of a oil? (I've been using miller's nanodrive for years, but I was thinking of changing (annual mileage has gone up from 7k to about 18k a year).

    Anyone going on long drives?

Still driving about 60 miles a day to work and back. A precision engineer in a factory so I can't work from home. Also the company is only letting people book two days max time off as holidays at the minute, and if you self isolate, non confirmed you don't get paid at all. But there is no tests...

    Adeys F4RT Twingo GT

Interesting thread, I've had my Twingo Gt for donkeys years, but its cool to see what you can do to them.

1.2 TCE 100 Spark Plug Seals

I read through this forum quite a bit (I've been a member on twingo133.net for years and years, but the place is dead) plus there is a lot of knowledge on here. I always search for info but I can't find anything about this. Right, I have a Twingo GT (1.2 TCE 100 (d4ft)) for six years now. I...

Does the 1.2 TCE 100 just have crap economy?

I still have it, for 5 1/2 years now. Still doing low 30s, high 20s most of the time. But I do hammer it a bit when I can and other times stuck in heavy traffic. It takes me an hour to do 8 miles some nights. Average is half an hour in the morning, 35-40 minutes to get home after work. That...
