My 172 Cup's alarm always goes off when I have the window slightly open or sometimes if I lock it too quickly after shutting the door is can screw with it.

Yeah I have found that Cups are alot harder to sell. I suppose it depends what you want it for. I sat in my mates 172 Sport and had a go in that and then got into my Cup and I was really suprised how different they feel in speed and handling! Really suprised! So it's a little extra performance...

I was also wondering how much a second hand cup is worth as trade. Also, people seem to have a different view on the private sale price. There are all sorts of different websites ranging from £7200 - £8000 (parkers/what car? etc...) for an '03' Cup with 15,000 miles. My Renault Dealer...
