looks a good example mate! maybe de-badge the rear, colour the alloys anthracite/black, then code the front and rear badges to the same colour? then a bold colour for calipers and wheel centre diamonds? :)

ah right, that a common thing for ticking/squeaking? i'm not sure, northeast motor centre, just got a receipt for the belts and the pulley being done.

bought a 172 about a week ago, FSH, belts and dephaser pulley done approx 15k ago with receipts to show, car is sitting at 79k on a 53. after a few days owning the car i noticed the tickover on idle is slightly loud (IMO) and there seems to be a slight constant squeaking noise while driving and...

will defo look spot on like that! how easy was it to do? just mask off the letters before you start then mask off the rest to spray the letters blue? will really look great though mate! black wheels i hope? :)

Can anyone vouch for their work? a 172 has come up for sale close to me, he has a receipt for the belts being done about 10k ago at the north east motor centre, but i have no idea if they are a reputable garage for doing that sort of work? any help would be appreciated please.

i see, what kind of trouble could come of it being done wrongly? is there any tell tale signs of an incorrect fitting?
