Come to replace my PMS top mounts wirh standards item, and I’m missing the spacer bolt in red here.
Can I just fit a standard nut? Is it solely there’s to just bolt the bearing to the shock?
Does anyone know how mpg is calculated for the OBC? Mine is drastically out! Any way of resetting?
Or If it’s based on a sensors input is it worth changing it ?
Am I right in assuming that on the lower range Clios, they didn't have a Dash airbag?
If so, what's in their place? I assume it's a blank that attached to the 4 mounting points, so the 3 upper dash screws can still attach?
Has any got a prt no for this?
I'd keep the Speedlines deffo, but 2118's with AR1's for dry summer days would be perfect.
Here's a trendy spec list too: (Stuff in underline to do)
Suspension/Handling
Genuine Renault Cup shocks
Cooksport springs
Powerflex Camber bolts
Ktec camber shims
PMS ARB (19mm)
PMS top mount and strut...
Chucked a bucket over her today Got all the lights working in the cabin now! Just on the look out for some none soft touch non sport fascia items and window switches...mine look s**t!
Second hand dogbone no longer has any bushes. Bought some black powerflex ones to go in, as all other...
What exhaust is this? Thought it was supersprint but even though the design is the same, this has ripples in the boxes. Not a KTEc either (tried an unsilenced mid pipe, wouldn't fit)
Anti mod today....bought a standard cat back and fitted it, now selling the supersprint that was on it. You may ask "why?!", but my thought process was:
. I'm too old for low rpm zorst warble
. Still got decat fitted so it's still loud.
. Rather use the money to useful mods (selling this pays...
Forgot to update: After messing around with snapped cables, rewiring, boot light is working now! Which tells me the loom is OK, and the amp in aerial base is fubard
Definitely not a fuse :-(
Pulled the boot switch out, and noticed one of the cables where snapped....bridges the loom but it still doesn't switch on :-(
Strange one, got my multimeter out earlier as neither aerial base amp or boot light is working....it's measuring no voltage over either.
They're on the same loom too, which makes me believe they're connected somehow. Everything else on that loom (rear lights, number plate light etc) works fine...
It's the little things that make it! In keeping with the theme of simplicity, I've removed the stereo remote and fitted a Renault blank. Fitted a connects 2 too, which will have a Bluetooth aux adapter hard wired in.
When I was at Renault, I asked if they could sell me a bag that the 1l bottles...
Yeah man, I evolved to being able to do it with my knee!
Filling the rod with sand........ Do I need to remove the rod, or can you do it in situ, just disconnecting the nut/bolt at the front pivot?
