Hi all, Removed my engine from my 172 a few months ago and I finally got round to putting it back in over the weekend. I should note the car started first time every time prior to me removing it. It turns over but it won't fire. I've checked the grounds (strap from gbox, 2 near battery)...

Induction is relatively easy. Dunno if there are guides for this in the guides section but to access (quite a good bit of knowledge/how-tos in there) then you'll have to fork out some dosh.

Friend and I replaced it not too long ago. Unfortunately we did a bodge job on it and were a bit careless (about 10-12 months ago). The part is available, and it can be done. It's just a c*nt of a job. Costs about $90 AUD. I'll be interested in a new shaft in the coming years, though.
