I suspect mine probably looks the same.
It was changed by the previous owner last year for £350 and it's now got a f**ked dephaser.
I have to spend £££s to correct someone else's bodge job :(
Still at least I'll know it's been done and done properly!

Tints.
Plastic light masks... Urgh....
M3 mirrors on anything but an M3.
Massive rear wings.
LED washer jets
Fake dump valves
Painted rear drums
Fake alloy wheel trims
Fake bonnet vents
Neons
Ebay Electric superchargers
Oh and my most hated...
badging up a car (Sport/ turbo/ RS...
Even with the abuse mine has suffered it's on 120k and the engine is still bone dry with no oil or water leaks.
Starts straight away and knackered dephaser excluding runs smoothly with plenty of pull.
Good strong engines.
As for the rest of the car that remains to be seen :evil:

Quite good fun ripping them off, was like therapy :)
Put both the odd mirrors on for the time being until I get the incorrect drivers side mirror replaced.
They may look a bit odd, but they both work which is more than I can say for the cheapo M3s I removed.

Brakes are now working as they should be and what a difference! :approve:
Amazing the difference dead fluid and a stuck calliper makes to your braking efficiency hehe
Now just the hybrid mirrors to sort out and then do the belts and my car shall rule them all! Muhahahaha!
Well ok maybe it will...
My old GTi-6 was at 150k of hard miles and never grumbled.
Personally the way it's been driven and the quality of servicing is more important to me than the miles - most of my cars have been high milers.
I had a 406 Hdi and that was faultless.
Ok so it's like driving a silent fart where everything is all quiet and fluffy ;)
The ride is cushioned, the pedals are light, the spec is good, the steering is light, they are pretty economical.
Mine only needed glow plugs and glow plug relay in 4...
