I have been involved in a road collision do I have to report it?
This will depend...
Clay bar them, probably take it all right out.
They cannot use the rear as the machine locks in from the back and can't be reversed as it uses the barrel to grip the wheel.
Cheers mate, I nearly copied your car TBH and bought a DCI Clio but the the Golf came up and in all honesty it's such a comfortable place to be on the motorway!
Have got a HUGE set of Renault tools, including locking tool, the horse shoe and the pins.
Really want this now but have been told I...
On a related note, a mates dad did the same on the bumper of an Astra he hired in Scotland. Was in a really weird place and luckily low down. Trouble was the car was grey so stood out like a saw thumb. Quick visit to Halfords, some wet and dry and a spray can and I have to say it looked amazing...
Only 20. :P Been out, normally I'm dressed like a pikey that's raided a breakers yard.
I'm in Kent matey. Have all the tools for the belts, had plenty of the heads off these TYPE of engines, I'm more VAG inclined so don't know if the 1.4 and 1.6 16v engines are F4R as such.
I'm the...
Also just upgraded to Club membership so I really must get a proper Clio now, the 1.4 Dynamique did me well and handled awesome but I think the proper Clio may be just a tad next level!
OK cool thanks! He said he's not hiding anything so use whatever diagnostic tool I want.
I didn't scramble about much, was in a suit as can be seen on a reflection in one of the pics.

Bumper I think.
What sort of price would you be thinking?
I'd be kicking him in the b****cks but I'll be offering nearer 5 tbh.
The fault sheet I found in the book (not advertised) what do we think all that is?
182, is that a Cup spoiler? THINK it's got Cup suspension pack on it, no splitter though.
Good history etc, however advertised as spares repairs. Spark plug on one of the cylinders had been mashed by a valve shaped thing. Could get a boroscope down there the guy said that it's fine...
Hope this is allowed! I have a K4M Scenic I've got to do a timing belt on. I'm going to buy the kit to do the job and wondered if anyone would rent the tools after? Is a fairly complex kit so will do all the Clios including diesel etc.
Cheers.
I can't believe how different/well this little Clio performs! Been totally into Golfs and anything German, but the handling on it is insane! I could be completely warped minded as I've been scudding about in a 1.9 Non turbo MK4 Golf which is the slowest most loose handling thing on the planet...
No problems at all!
Think I used a jack, axle stand, 18mm spanner and socket and a 30mm socket and bar. Torque wrench and a 19mm for the wheel.
Can either take the ABS sensor off with a T40 IIRC Torx bit and remove 18mm bolts on the strut, the lower ball joint and a 16mm on the track rod end...
Order an ABS ring off eBay then! About 3 quid I think. Or phone motor factors/Renault.
Should also replace the CV joint nut really.

Gives a guide. He recommends heating the ring up but I didn't bother I just used an old ring to carefully...
