Yep. Now its back at my house (was in a unit) I can finish a few bits off and mot it next year.

Well it's been a long time... Pushed on with this as much as I could and in October I got the old girl fired back up. With needing to get out of the unit it's been in for the past years... it got delivered back to my house. So much dust and general grime on it, I decided today to pull it...

My YouTube feed is now full of this crap after watching two of the videos... joy.

Based on the same body shell, they are mahossive.. seen a few in the works car park.

In some of those photos it reminds me of a volvo... a slightly more modern one than usually on here.

Few more bits done tonight. Hoses fitted back in along with the cleaned expansion tank (not perfect but fine all the same). Test fit of the new radiator. Slow progress is still progress.

Totally agree but will struggle to find one now, I gave up but I'm not thinking of turbo / charged so no need.

Haven't updated for a while.. Test fit of the new version of the pure motorsport brackets. Made some proper progress this evening. Feels nice to be putting things back in, rather than apart! Some nicely new painted bits and a few treats with the flywheel, sachs clutch and gripper diff box. 😈

Tonight job was to remove the steering rack and all associated pipework. Job done. Checked the fitment od the new dci manual rack and looks good. Also had a quick look at the brake servo, little bit of surface rust so will give that a sand over and bang some paint on it.
