I average around 31mpg according to the trip computer which is wildly innacurate (notice that it tells you that you are out of fuel 2 gallons before you actually are and then two weeks later tells you that you have 2 gallons left but the fuel light is on!!)
In reality I get about 27mpg on...
Makes me think that your screen fitters new about it and replaced the gel pack?..... I wonder if the service light goes out on its own when the gel pack is replaced?
Haven't been on the site for quite some time but thought this might be of interest - I have just had my windscreen replaced by RAC auto windscreens. When they had fininished i checked the car (182 full fat) and the service light was on. I called Renault (with the windscreen fitter still with me)...
I am selling my 182 after 8 months of ownership. I have had some grief from both Renault dealer and other road users. But make no mistake... I love this car, no I more than love it, it goes deeper than that it is a spiritual thing. The 182 is a superb triumph of engineering. It is fast, damn...
Just quote the Sale of Goods Act (in particular the section about goods being fit for purpose) and that if they dont sort it out you will go to Trading Standards. Its amazing how quickly things get sorted when they realise you know your stuff!
Optimax all the way! If you cant get it use super (97ron).
Ive done my sums and Optimax is cheaper, performance is better as is mpg. Ive tested this over 6000 miles and know that Optimax is the best all round fuel for my 182 and certainly the best for performance!
The amount of things wrong with my 182... There arent enough hours in the day to go through them! Suffice to say that its been back 6 times to the dealer andI still have numerous creaks, rattles and sqeaks not to mention the clunKing engine mount, noisey steering column, broken switch in the...
Same here, I tried parking away from everyone sle in car parks but you always go back to some 4x4 or baby seated wagon so close they open their doors onto yours. Once I went back to the car and stood and watched as some spacially devoid doris was getting her baby seat out of the back of her car...
IMHO keep the CTR. Dont get me wrong the 182 is a fantastic drivers car if you can put up with its many faults. I love mine to death, it out accelarates most things out there and show it some twistys and you can almost hear it saying "thankyou, treat me like a b**ch!"
Ive had mine since new...
Yaeh well, pretty much calmed down about it now but I know these chavs are out theren waiting to fu*k some-one elses motor up, hopefully the police will eventually take notice of these pri*ks and leave us responsible car owners alone!!!!!!!!!!!!
