    George's TURBO 182

It's amazing. I can't rate him highly enough, ex-coded welded from petro-chem industry, so he knows his stuff. All internal voids are purged during welding (lots of wasted argon) so no nasty hidden oxidization blooms inside the pipe waiting to drop off and find their way through any downstream...

    George's TURBO 182

Lance who owns/runs OJZ in Retford, his work is flawless, see the system he built for me here (Page 8 of thread) : http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?327275-PPS-S15-3-Supercharged-RB30-Driftcar-Project/page8&highlight=PPS+S15.3

    Running in a built engine

A good hone is important and a parallel and round bore, leave it to a decent machine shop is my advice, it's only £10 per bore at Chesman in Cov, done all mine. It's all about the rings. You want high pressure above the piston to force rings against bore wall, then a vacuum to draw cool oil...

    Disintegrating DS2500's

Did you look at the disc faces ? juddery brakes always get misdiagnosed as 'warped discs', but it's nearly always pad material transfer, you can get them refaced if they're in reasonable condition, costs about ~£10 per disc, but when new ones are £40 a set... Pads were £140 delivered from Fred.

    Disintegrating DS2500's

Yes, I had some in my 200SX, cooked them without hardly trying on the road, smoke, judder etc very un-impressed, never bought a set since and probably never will. I think I just pushed these 2500's beyond their operating temp range, so to be expected in my opinion. I am in no way saying...

    Disintegrating DS2500's

Fitted last February, bought from Fred. Not sure on mileage without looking at the clock, looking at previous MOT and doing some sums, nearly all covered on those trackdays.

    Disintegrating DS2500's

Yes, I was REALLY trying, I went straight through Hislop's twice. Will see how I get on regards fitting ducting and stuff, I haven't got time now before Snetterton as I've got to fix my 406 towing hack (hoping its just the EGR valve) or I'm gonna have to drive the Clio all the way there and back.

    Disintegrating DS2500's

Haven't been before as it’s a long drive, looking forward to it at £99, all day, OPL I couldn’t not go… Yeah, it was great fun, had a few goes against him throughout the day and got closer as I learned the track, just too fast for me though. Finally got myself a GoPro so will be posting...

    Disintegrating DS2500's

Thought people might be interested to see the state of some 2500's after a few trackdays, 53 plate 172, BMC induction kit, coilovers, R888's all round on 15" superleggera, Volvo 440 alternator mod (no ac) and standard calipers so not particularly special (well, the nasty, dog-eared, stick-on...

Stopping PAS fluid boiling/spitting out resevoir

That was me ;) although I'm probably going to do it by using a 2nd hand oil cooler off everyones favourite auction site and use various other bits I have kicking around. A tank with a more manly breather might be a good bet aswell.

Stopping PAS fluid boiling/spitting out resevoir

Yes I've seen this aswell, sometimes with fin bits on the metallic outer of the pipe like on a Primera. I've no idea when the PAS fluid was last changed, only had the car a couple of weeks and I'm afraid changing the PAS fluid wasn't on my list of things to do before the trackday, either way...
