I also think it depends of if you are going to be going big miles in it? Our Clio has high miles bit will only do about 3k pa so over the next few years the mileage should normalise. If we were doing 20k or so then I'd have swerved one with high mileage.

Interesting to hear someone else say they 'don't think it is worth doing the belts'. I got my 182 for peanuts with no history and a handful of minor niggles that I've been sorting out as I go. Everyone keeps telling me to get the belts done but I'm kinda thinking I'll take my chances and just...
