After xmas I’m looking to sell my clio as I will be taking ownership of my dad’s mk1 Focus RS so I’m just trying to get a ball park figure of how much my car is worth:
Details.
2004 Clio 182, I’m the 4th owner
Will be on roughly 46k when it comes to selling it.
Full Service History
Both...
there is actually one local to me with a 182 exhaust conversion. looks good but then again i prefer the back of a 182 to a 172.
I wouldnt go the trouble of ruining a monaco 172 by carrying out the conversion but each to their own.
you can't beat going out for a random drive in your car.
simply reminds you why you bought it.
I try and go out at least once a month just for a drive.
ouch thats gutting which one did you have?
i grew up in sapphire, sierra and escort cosworths, such fun cool cars, but always breaking lol! my dad went through 3 engine rebuilds in 8 years along with driveshafts and other things.
really, TBH i havent kept an eye on the prices, just noticed that good condition, low mileage ones can be around £20,000
my dad stupidly passed up buying a 400 BHP moonstone silver RS500 to get his escos, what an investment that would have been! It was only £15,000 at the time and now there...
very nice, makes me miss my dads, he had an imperial blue, big turbo model tuned to 350 bhp , was an absolute animal.
they get better and better looking as time goes on and always turn heads.
They have risen in price like the rs500 did, my dad bought his in 2004 for around £14,000 there like...
IMO keep it standard, keep it clean and enjoy it.
no point wasting money modifying it as you won't get the money back.
If your after a 182, just save the money you will save by not modifying your 1.2 until you can afford a 182, it will be worth the wait :)
