Got a wee issue with the car I'm needing some help with. It's a 59 plate mk3 1.2.
basically, windscreen was a bit dirty so put the washers on, the wipers went to the top of the screen (vertical) and wouldn't go back to their rest position no matter what I did, turned car off then back on...
Another update:
was down in Yarmouth a few days on holiday and some bell end in a ex post office Combo van ran into the back of me, just got the car back from bodyshop after having a new bumper and the whole back end resprayed
not got much spare moolah for getting any big mods done but I...
Thought I'd give this a wee quick update.
not much happening with the car lately, only things to report are: got a stubby aerial from a Citroen C8 for it, needed 2 new tyres, passed its mot first time, needed new front pads, and I've finally got around to getting my badly refurbed passenger...
Hi all, just a quick question:
Earlier on today i had to swerve to avoid some idiot and had to bump up a kerb, heard a small thud and got out and looked and my alloy was kerbed (not an issue as my alloy was already kerbed by previous owner) but the tyre had rubbed off the kerb and the sidewall...
I got the car with 17,700 miles on it at 2.5 years old by an olde guy so would assume that's been short shops and back trips. The 13K I've done has been 30 miles round trip motorway journey to work and back all week and the odd town driving at weekends.
Just had my car in for MOT (which it passed) but there was an advisory on the front pads wearing thin.
my cars done 31000 miles and they've said the pads are 90% worn, does that sound about right?
I was always told pads should last 40-45K miles.
Lol cheers lads, just got a bit worried cos I've had the car 10 months and never noticed it happen before, come to think of it I've never noticed it on any car I've had before either.
Hey guys, just looking for some ideas on the above.
ive got a 59 plate mk3 1.2, anyway decided to Hoover it after work, so it'd been left sitting (engine off obviously) from 8 am this morning, I started it up at 4pm and left it running whilst I hoovered it, anyway when I'd finished hoovering...
I can confirm the Canasta alloys are fine on normal Dynamiques, they were standard on my facelift and I believe we're standard on prefacelifts Dynamiques from 08 onwards.
ps Tom what is that stubby aerial you've got and where'd you get it from?
