whats the latest year that u can get a mk 2 ph 2, had sum bloke down the street said he could have bought a cat d phase 2 for £1400 yesterday and he rekons it was on an '06, but i rekon he was full of it cos i am sure they finished on a '55...

i have just done this, and it beeps twice, but then nowt happens, tried all combinations, turning ignition off and on again after the beeps. but nowt, got 02 ph2 172 climate control etc...

its renualt mate. try a regular garage, part will be roughly the same depends on the supplier, but the labour will be a lot less

not notice a reduction in mpg? might be leaking from sumwhere when driving, fuel being pumped round but obviously the fuel doesnt move when stopped...fuel filter first stop tho

the black circle which holds to bulb in place screws out, then the bulb pulls out, its a bit fiddly but u should be able to manage, if you cant get your hand in take off the top bolt holding the head light in place, it will pull towards you about an inch or so, helps with space. Also dont touch...

i think its got summit to do wi the gear ratio aswell. When sitting at about 75-80, its doing 4000rpm or there about. Just feels like its too high revs for that speed. mind u, i have just come out of a 6 speed GtTdi golf 130. Which never went over 2500 rpm so might just be me lol!!
