HOW MUCH????? I was hoping for a £45 bearing bill.... Bugger.

My 172 is making a rumbling noise from the rear at motorway speeds so I'm thinking the rear wheel bearings may be on their way out. Is swaping them a right pain in the arse or is it an OK job on one of these ? If so, where's the best place to get some new ones from by mail order ? Ta...

As I'm old I'm allowed to want to tow things behind my ph1 172. Does anyone know of a detatchable towbar that would be completely hidden when removed (if that makes sense) ? Need to flog the espace and therefore will need a trailer for the trackbikes. Ta.

We've got an Espace but I'm guessing that doesn't count as lovely LOL. Although you can fit 2 race bikes in the back....

Ant, I NEED details of those wheels.... They're perfect. Also, I assume your car is lowered. That's exactly the look I am going for (although where in the country are you? I'd hate to run into another one that looked the same LOL)

Keep looking at my new black 172 and wonder if it wouldn't look better on dark wheels.. Anyone have any pics of such a thing ? (I tried a search but nowt came up) Ta muchly.

On the bike trackdays we run, 95db is classed as a quiet day and 105db is a noisy day... Bearing in mind that they test them at 6000rpm. 95db on a bike is still road legal although they have to be 89db on a standard manufacturers pipe.

..but you'd need to be a full CCNA for that though. Worth the effort and a few quid now, it'll pay in the long run.

Get a job as a jnr engineer with a Cisco reseller and go from there. 3 years of experience and voila, you're a £450 a day contractor on 6 month rolling contracts.

This buying my own car thing has got me a bit nervous to be honest. Bikes I know about but Cars are weird things with lots to go wrong... Oh aye.... phsquick ? Eh ?
