I've fixed mine to the base frame using the same bolt that goes through the gearbox turret that affixed the original seat. I'm hoping I'm right in thinking this will be more than strong enough as it help the old seat! I would be reluctant to fit it to the side mounts, this would be like fitting...

How does the road noise compare now it's stripped?

Cheers bud, Getting the brakes and tyres sorted first then tracking her and seeing what she needs after. Its going to be a budget build and i will try and do the work myself :) Blyton Park in May will probably be the first outing. Bit reluctant to strip her at present, but might change my mind.
