Looks great and a beautiful colour. I don't suppose you know what type of bung is needed for the rear wiper? I was going to take mine off but it's a very odd shape so I wasn't sure a regular circular bung would fit correctly.

Managed to get the head fixed on the original engine :). Cost around £300 but the engine only has 65k on it so it will be worth it in the long run :)

The cambelts gone on my Mk1 d7f 730 and needs a new head or engine. I've found a Cylinder head for sale advertised for the Mk2 D7F. I've contacted the seller and asked if it would fit my MK1 D7F 730 engine and he said it would and he has used one before. I'd just like someone to confirm that...

Would this cylinder head fit straight onto my engine? Mine is a MK1 and this is off a Mk2 but my engine is still a D7F but the 730.

Its trying to find one though dude :(. Need one cheap as possible. Trying to keep the cost down otherwise I'd most likely of gone for a 172 conversion mate.

I'm not too sure if its an interference engine tbh. I'll try and crank it again and see if it seems quicker and smoother :) Edit - Just tried it and it is alot smoother and quicker. Looks like it is the belt then. Hopefully it hasn't done too much damage.
