    Finally done!

Had the dephaser done today, car feels a little more responsive low down, but best of all no more embarrassment when idling at traffic lights, it's so weird not hearing the engine now at a stand still, if anyone in Colchester or surrounding areas needs any work done I can't recommend enough...

It's not noise I'm after so much, just want it to breath a little easier, that and an air filter is about as far as I wanna go with performance mods

Calling exhaust experts... will this fit.

Thanks for the quick reply bud. Only reason i ask is everytime i see a de-cat for sale, they always mention which exhaust system it fits. I just want one for the standard system.

    Before the Dephaser is done...

before i spend a tonne of cash on having the dephaser done and all the other bits that go with it, what would be my other options? Is there different cams i can run with fixed pulleys, would it be cheaper to buy another engine that's already had the work done and just swap out the engine? I...

    Parts genuine or not?

Looking at doing the dephaser soon, is it wise to use all genuine parts, or to save some money by purchasing a Gates cambelt kit and a Bosch water pump etc, im inclined to buy a Genuine Dephaser, just trying to save money on an already expensive job. I wouldn't use cheap unbranded stuff, but...

    Getting Pony MPG?!

My girlfriends Clio 1.2 16v was suffering from poor MPG, turned out to be the air filter. Even though it was not due a change, and was done with its last service it was not letting the car breath properly. Worth spending £10 and see how it goes. I think the air filter is way to small on her car...

    Wipers - frost

My friend did this, except he didn't get a frost it rained instead, and all the water traveled through the sheet into the car and filled his footwell with water, which is were is ECU was, killing the car. My recommendation... Don't shut a sheet in your door.
