Did your remote key for car still operate the locking,i no early clio's have infa red locking/immobiliser receiver next to interior light. When water leaks in from duff aerials can affect this and wont allow locking to work along with disarming the immobiliser.same if you cut a wire giving it...

Just use the two plugs with 8 pins in,ones power the other is speaker.The spare one is for the stalk controls which won't plug into your new unit direct(depends on your unit you might be able to get adaptor)Aerial just needs a male stud adaptor about £4 from car audio shop.

If you want just ipod music use KCE-422i lead ,if you want video then use KCE-425i adaptor ,both units will give full touch control and charge ipod unless you have new generation ipod these charge at different voltage.

Sounds like a earth fault on amp or speakers,have you replaced door speakers ,if you have check the terminals are not making contact with metal in door or cable is not trapped in door.This can show as intermitant fault or shut amp down totally.Also could be RCA problem check at headunit and amp...

Best place is a fused supply of battery or use under bonnet fuse box,then use original horn feed to energize the relay.
