Have you tried swapping cars to see if it's not just the difference in your driving style? If your 172 is still quicker with your mate at the wheel than you driving the 182 then you can at least rule it out...

Am considering upgrading the horn on my mk3ph2 tce. I've yet to take the bumper off to see how much space I've got to play with. Have any of you upgraded the oem horn? What did you go for, and did you have to relocate it elsewhere due to lack of space? Currently looking at the stebel range...

I'm using a raspberry pi running kodi off an sd card. It's connected to a 2tb powered external hdd. Works a dream, controlled by my phone, great interface. Can stream from it to my phone if needed also. Never used plex, although I hear it's very similar to kodi?

I had a 1.6 Mk2 for a while, although it was the 5dr privilege with the nasty beige interior. Felt like a rocket after driving a 1.2, would definitely recommend as a stepping stone on the way to a renaultsport.

Got a Mk3 facelift TCE estate, no mods yet apart from silvervision indicator bulbs, whitevision H7s, and xtremevision led sidelights.

Today I've fitted new sidelight, indicator and dipped beam bulbs on my mk3ph2. My hands are scratched to f**k!

Thanks, I'd chosen the Philips as all their bulbs I've had in the past have lasted ages and I've read so many posts where cheap eBay bulbs have blown after a few months. I'll look into your seller though, cheers for the info.
