i went to a renault specialist in the end... he put it on a clip i think... he said his equipment cost ££££££'s he went into the system a few times and said it was not easy but managed to sort it.
cost me £60 cash in hand.

as per title, my engine slipped a tooth on the cambelt, bent the most valves and took bottom end out...

Right little update- air bag light came on after refitting the steering wheel... Managed to wiggle the connections behind the wheel and the light has now turned off, so happy bunny.

I have taken the wheel off located the yellow marker... Lights are still on hmmmm is there anything else to this as that was pretty straight forward- take wheel off spin sensor to yellow marker with the (Pom) at the top put wheel back on
Yes I'm not sure if the steering wheel got moved whilst I had the engine out.... I read that I should be able to go on a full lock, return to centre indicator reset/ changed then progress another half turn- lights will go out etc etc
I have had the diagnostics on the car... Came back with angle sensor was reading 300 degrees...
I have just had the engine out for a cambelt change...
I have read that you can take the steering wheel off and set the sensor/squib to get a green/blue light indicator and this will wipe the fault...
had a loose connection on my alternator, which i found after i lost all my electrics....i was not getting any lights before i found my alternator must have fried...
i have just changed my alternator to a spare i had... it is now charging at 18.9 volts....
the battery voltage is around 12.7...
when i actually wrote this (i did realise/find the alternator positive was really loose- ) it made me think.... i dissconnected my positive from my alternator and attached my jump pack again... :) all lights have now come back on and the car started.
thought it would be best for future use for...
