Evening all. Had a 182 Cup a few years back and am looking to come back to the fold with a 197. Guessing it's worth budgeting in £500ish for belt, water pump, dephaser etc... Current truck going through on fleabay at the minute so I'll be doing some proper 'shopping' very soon :) Steve

Ha! Used them before years back and were fine but this time... Cancelled policy within 7 days under Distance Selling Regs after they tried to stiff me. Brentacre were great. Even spoke to a fellow Geordie. :) All coincidences but made it a pleasant experience from start to finish with them.

Best price and most 'human' people I've dealt with in ages. Got messed around by Sky and Brentacre were great in comparison.

Huge, melted steering wheel and turning circle. But it still puts a grin on my face whenever I give it a hoofing. Have had loads of cars, some seen as great, some not, but ALL with their own character and the Cup has that in spades :)

All sorted mate. Mechanic mate dropped round with his SnapOn and was either the decat or a dicky brake sensor switch as the brake pedal switch and the cruise control had reported a fault. Came on with the cruise at 75 on the A1 so thats where I'm guessing it lies. Reset it and fine. No worries...

Yep, decatted. Nowt to worry about then? Only just shown up this morning. Had a decent spirited test drive and no light, bit of a hoof last night, and just came on, on a cruise down this morning... Cheers for the quick reply by the way!

Morning all, I know this is my first post but I only picked up the car last night! Handbook is at home so can't check, but on a gentle run down this morning the 'engine management - looking' light has come on. No STOP sign just the one under the cruise control lamp on the dash. Car drives...
