Yep, we meet up with the others then we drive the other half of the route up and over Kirkstone Pass. Afterwards we'll stop off for a drink and something to eat if everyone is hungry.- BenG

Well spotted, I didn't know this. It's not a problem and can be easily avoided by taking a shortcut through Buttermere and back into Keswick, or, carrying on to the A66 and following that back into Keswick...- BenG

The route over Honister Pass will be the bumpiest, the roads on that part of the route are quite tight and twisty so we'll be taking it easy over there anyways. After that the roads are all fairly smooth.- BenG
