started the car ph1 172 this morning noprobs drove it about 6miles turned it off,turned back on to check time 30mins later,10mins after turned key lights on dash came on went off !no clicks nothing,tried to bump it wouldnt start,then i tryed to jumpstart it great it started,drove it home but on...

hi dan i think theirs 3 bolts on the left side of the pump(got to take the belt wheel off to get to them ) once they are out wriggle the pump and it should pull out but still connected to the pipe work ,and the are a couple of i think 16mm bolts holding the bracket

hi dan mines done this ,the top and bottom had sheered off,took all afternoon ,had to take grill ,slam plate ,off side headlight ,alternater ,engine mount (give you a bit more room)loosen pas pump to get at brackets bolts .i didnt drill the bit of bolt out just used centre punch to get it ot...

mine`s been doing that on full lock ,found out that the bolts top and bottom of the tensioner had snaped off,had to take quite abit off to get at the bracket and tentioner to get the bit of bolt out ,now its back to norm hurry!

fitted mine by removing spot light removing one horn and fliping the other up out of the way and bingo! made the grill from an old chip basket lol

gave the car bigger lungs runs alot better(payed off watching blue peter lol,used a chip basket for grill sprayed black)
