we arnt all perfect and neither are machines. both can make mistakes and it could be that the wrong sized fuse has been put in the amp from start. ive had this myself. at such low voltage as in a car, going up 5 amp isnt going to make an ounce of difference, check your manual mate and see what...
Normally your ecu is just engine management. The uch controls everthing in the car . So id say the uch controls the ecu . Not 100% sure tho . Have you tried reseting your imobiliser? Think it could be a dead starter motor ?
I doubt it would be a relay but there worth checking. Normally a fuse will go before the relay. I dont mean to scare you but i had a similar problem to this. Got it checked by renault by my mate and the uch computer had gone. £500 parts and fitting :/
notice throughout the build, i dont mention the vibe amp once. yes being its a pile of s**t and i got if for free :P was just somefink to run my comps on for the time being. this was replaced with a jbl amp and i now have an audio system amp doing the job. 500wrms into each door ;)
definetely...
no problem. basically what you want to do is seal the door off apart from the drain holes on the bottom.
so you need to put it on the outer skin of the door (on the inside) and then cover the big hole which gives access to you electric window mechanism and motor. it will peel off if anything...
1) best place to mount tweeters would be on the a pillars where they are in axis with your face as high range sound is very directional. saying that you wouldnt notice much difference to where they are now.
2) 2 good amps to go for would be these. 1 being a good solid and reliable amp with head...
yes thats the one mate, depending on the size of cable its easy enough just to use a scre driver to push a hole through then use some fairy liquid on the cable to help pushing it through. if you take the water reservoir out, it makes it much easier to locate and work on.
the voltage depends on alot of factors. temperature, load, engine speed. etc
most cars produce 14.4v , because this is what the regulator in the alternator is telling the alternator to produce.
your alternator will more than likely produce 14.4v when cold and around 2000rpm engine speed but...
if the amp is a true 250wrms amp then it will pull more than 15A
250/14.4=17.36amps
it will be safe to stick with the 20A fuse, this will not make any difference. if something seriously fails on the amp, this fuse will blow just as easy at the 15A fuse
this amp would be perfectly suited to your subs, these are very solid and very reliable amps with a brilliant customer service, future care from car audio direct

i myself have 2 of its big bigger brother, the ice-3500d and couldnt be...
hia mate, i new on here but have a very good knowledge in the car audio sector .
the alpines are good, but you can get much more for cheaper.
what you are after cant really be done by using just one amp, however it all depends what you want.
your best approach to this would be to a decent...
if you dont fancy drilling holes, you can take out the bonnet catch cable out and open up the grommet then put it back in. this is what i done in my install. could fit 2 "0" gauge cables through it ones it was fully opened up
Just a project i have been working on for a couple of months now, would like to show all the fellow clio owners, so you can see what you can squeeze into one of these little cars , thats if your into this kinda installs :) be good if you could have a quick scan through and give you some comments...
