I used some Carlack stuff on the glass. Seemed to do the job well. Currently using up the last of some Meguairs Gold Class shampoo before moving onto some blue Zaino something or other. :)

  Maybe a 172 Cup..
Probably posted already pal, but I take it you prefer Civic to 182? Whats pros and cons of each now you've owned for a while...

Civic looks perfect buddy ; )

I love both and I think this forum helps people enjoy the Clio for what it is, a great little car. It was just time for a change. I won't go into the pros and cons as that's for another thread ;). But I don't regret getting the type r :)

After having the car foe a few months ive decided to sell up and possibly come back to the fold, and yes i know i said i wouldnt lol. For anyone intersted in the car let me know. It is advertised on ctro and will be going on pistonheads some time next week as im away for a few days from Sunday. Price is £4250 and imo its a very nice car :)

No massive update. Replaced the front discs and pads with rc5+ pads and oem discs, oh and a brake stopper. Massive and I mean massive difference. One step closer to sorting the car for a trackday. Lines and fluid replacement tomo :)

Cool. Brilliant as they are now. Spirited drive earlier and the confidence they bring made me smile

A few quick questions if I may

-Whats the rpm like when going at 70mph in 6th ?
-How does the ride comfort compare to a 1*2 ?

Cheers, lovely car btw :p

Mmm can't say I've ever really noticed the rpm in sixth mate. I'd say the equivalent to fifth in the Clio. Ride wise a bit more hard tbh, although the set up I have is better than oem

It is indeed!

It is high, but I know it's not any higher because my exhaust gets OTT loud at just under 4k. Lol.

Yep its basically half the speed so 70mph would be 3500rpm or so.I did worry about it being a bit loud before i bought one but the engine is pretty quiet below vtec yo...

Aye, I was unsure whether this was correct at first too, but it copes fine, pretty smooth really!

Seriously?

Yea, its a nause when you have an exhaust.

I can lose the "drone" holding it at 80mph, but its loud.

Depending on your map with a Kpro, V-Tec comes in at around 4600rpm. With a Kpro + Exhaust if you're doing 80-90mph and on Vtec its loud as f**k lol.

Motorway cars they aint! lol
