Just got back from our local motor dealer 12,500 lighter having bought a brand spankin new clio 172 in black. Dont pick it up till the end of the month but Ill be countin the hours down I can tell ya. Bit of a change from my current motor:

1.4 litres dragging round a ton and a half on 17s lol. Not a fast car. Test drive in the cliuo blew me away, feels faster to drive than my mates standard classic scooby. Heres to a few years of crippling debt and exsessive pertol bills :D

I used to drive a Bravo HGT from time to time. Sounded lovely, but was a real barge compared to the GTi-6 I had at the time.

Congrats on the new car, but you wont have to worry about the fuel bills. These things do over 30mpg consistently. I still cant believe it myself. :)

Bravos are nice.. I really like the shape. Lad at Uni has one with a full bodykit - very tasty.

Good luck with your new Clio though mate! And Welcome! :D

yeah the bravos been a top car. The ride is fantatic (even on the lowered shocks + with the 17s) the driving position is about the best Ive ever seen. But it does chug and only returns about 26 MPG (Really) and thats with totally zero engine mods. I wish Idve bought a 2.0 HGT now but never mind. Gave me the excuse to get a clio. Its for sale for £2000 if anyone knows someone that might want to buy it. Im in west yorks area. Theres nowt wrong with the car, I just want something quicker.
