Can we take this online if it arrives before Friday? I've never felt the need to buy a game at launch before so have no idea.

Yes. There have been issues with some of the Time Trial boards not being on yet, but I believe they're all up and running now.

Just got an email saying my copy was dispatched today, should have it for Thursday then, now just need a wheel!

Any ideas where I can get a Microsoft Wheel? Everywhere doesn't seem to have them?

They've stopped making them, and everyone has been snapping them up for F1. It's madness.

That's what Game told a friend of mine who tried to buy 2.

I'm hoping mine at home doesn't pack in now. I've killed a few of them in the office. If it all goes tits up I'll have to borrow one of the Fanatec wheels instead.

Must be the case then, especially as they don't seem to be for sale anywhere now.

When you say killed them, what do you mean? I bought one for £20 but the force feedback isn't working properly, I am hoping it's perhaps belt driven and the belt has just fallen off? Going to open it up tonight and see. Seemed a bit too good to be true at £20.

I know you've said you're not fond of the Fanatec wheel for this game, but I'd love to try one, looks like an amazing bit of kit. A blast on the clubsport pedals wouldn't go a miss either.

Two of them are either stuck to full left of full right, and one of them has a broken shifter, not physically snapped, just broken inside.

The CS pedeals are amazing. I like the wheel, but I do prefer a smaller wheel for F1. It's great for Forza 3.

Any more infos? Seems bizarre that MS would pull a product without having a replacement for it ready to go

Fair enough. You don't happen to know about the force feedback failing then? The wheel still works perfectly just doesn't seem to have much 'fight' left.

Yeah I know. I'm sure I'll be getting an earful from some corners anyway. You can't please everyone.

I'm not sure the F1 wheel is still going ahead, maybe if this game is a success they'll look at a deal with 2011.

i just spoke to shop-to regarding my tracking number they said we havent give you one and should expect it to be there in the morning lol

Yeah its not a tracking number just proof that they have posted it.

TBH its worse than plain old first class as if you aren't at home when they deliver it they'll take it away again whereas the shopto envelopes fit nicely through your letterbox :cool:

Great write up from the boss Lee, don't use it to leave though, your updates have been fantastic here and I would just like to say a big thanks for letting us know so much.

The official MS wheel is indeed going crazy on eBay, £40 to £100+ in a matter of weeks! I got one for £60 buy it now (ten minutes after it was listed!) as the actual auctions were pushing crazy prices.

Any recommendation for a PS3 wheel that wont break the bank? I'm tempted by a used g25, but would prefer new.

Ordered my game from Shop to, today at about 10.00, was confirmed dispatched at about 10.30! If it turns up then i doubt i will leave the house for the rest of the week!.

Lee you must of single handedly generated 50 sales on this forum. I know i wouldn't of bought this game on release unless you had been writing about it.

Literally since they did that review on BBC the price of the 360 wheels has doubled if not tripled, depressing, however im contemplating buying one from my local gamestation and putting it on the bay, might as well make money of the people willing to spend 100+
