is the engine and rwd system all working now? or is it wait till it's in to find out?

Uh no not yet.
A well known tuner has my engine and
is waiting for the rollling shell to go back
so they can plumb/wire cable it all in etc.

Car will be running omex600 management
with the current turbo from old (bbpt)conversion
should be good for 250bhp so I'm told.
To be honest I'd b happy with 172hp lol

engines going back in soon!

so it might be running soon and could possible read for fcs 2010.

been thinking more about keeping things cool in the rear!

1. im going to partition as much of the exhaust, box etc from the bay.
2. put an oil cooler -somewhere?
mybe at front then run pipes from there?
3. the charge cooler rad could stay at the front, the more water in the sstem the better.
4. im going the install a small turbo water fan assisted radiator in the rear.
at some later point im going to fit polycarbonate rear windows with vents on the rear window, scoop vents on the rear sides with hoses ducting into the v6 engine cover, prob fan assisted too.

im not sure how inlet temps are going to cope yet.
i ma fit a small r5 double cap intercooler above the v6 covers air fed by hose from a roof vent?

as for the engine water coolant im running a brand new oe radiator at the front, with hard pipes along the exhaust tunnel.
and the small turbo water rad will help by cooling water before it goes back into the system.

i have been thinking the water pump may be under more stress so iv seen a few electric pumps that could help .
craig davies?
im not sure if id have to remove the oe pump to run it tho?
mybe just the impeller?

any opinions welcome.

and feel free to correct my spelling lol

I'm not even sure what turbo bbpt put in there!?

There's not really any markings on it.

M27 AIresearch ?

I will prob later upgrade the turbo.
Gt35?
No idea what would suit /fit etc

GT35 is a 600bhp Turbo. Its a big turbo for a 2.0 litre engine unless you are gonna run 6000rpm + all the time and have a gearbox with the right ratios to keep it on the boil.

I ran one on a 2.0 Cossie Engine and it was laggy as hell... made well over 600bhp and when it got going it was a monster though.

I switched done to a GT30 the following year and I was MUCH MUCH happier. Never Dyno'd it... guess around 530bhp much MUCHER punchier and more drivable.

Gt30 it is then lol

doubt the oe box can handle 500+hp tho!!!

Most kill it with less than 172hp lol

like I said I want to get it up and running first.

Yh iv looked at those a bit too.
Laminova is it called?
Made by mocal?

Don't they just pass the heat on from oil into
the already stressed water system?

I'm picking up my carbon k-tec bonnet today!

My original one is dented plus holes from horrible bonnet pins.

Airochatch ones will be fitted later.

I'm hoping the bonnet will aid cooling the front rads as there's no engine in the way now.

surely the front end has no reason to need aero-catches?
why not keep it on the stock latch so its that little bit stealth?
