Cleaned up the engine bay a bit. Wire-brushed inlet mani/fuel rail guard, metal polished lettering. Wiped engine cover, added battery cover, sprayed fuse-box silver to match engine cover, polished up air-con pipes. Now needs a new coolant expansion tank and I'm on the fence as to whether to spray the battery cover and/or the air box silver too
Oh and I got a new gearstick insert too, it's the little things that make a difference [emoji6] haha

Then gave the windscreen a quick spray and one of my wipers (finally) snapped so have ordered some bosch aeroblades.

Unsure at the moment, plus it needs the original style light cluster, which doesn't clip into place properly in these housings

Well 2nd day of owner ship.
I wet flatted and cut back both headlights, spent 10 mins on each light, a massive difference.
Cleaned scorpion tips on exhaust.
Passenger side wing mirror, knackerd, bought a black one from scrappy, filled it, primed it, sprayed it and lacquered it.
Here's some photos.
The old wing mirror is available, all electrics etc work, but is in two bits, where gaffa tape is, in arctic blue.

Found out my headlamp washers aren't working. Pump is fine, but testing it then made the jets leak, so off with the bumper to stop the dribbling. Still no headlight washer jets.

Broken wire at ignition on 3 pin plug red wire, now car has went into immobilised, took positive off battery all day, connected back up now no lights on dash, radio is working but needs a code, mirrors and horn still work

I removed my non-working headlamp washers this morning, and replaced them with a couple of rubber grommets. Not too bad methinks, and a whole lot cheaper than carbon blanks!
