URGENT REAR AXLE

Having to change rear axle wwould any clio axle do or does it have to be a 172 ph1 axle

any rear axle will fit,

But the anti roll bar in the non-sport rear beams is a lot thiner and will therefore compromise the handling!!

ph1 172, ph2 172, cup will all have the same rear beam iirc, (23mm sway bar)

non-sports have something like a 17mm sway bar,

and the bars are welded in and cannot be changed.

It's ok i got a 172 axle fitted it all today and put a nice wee whiteline arb on it . Only bad thing is the brake line is corroded and leaking
